1. Introduction

The Texas Scorpion Clear Boost Pedal is designed to offer a clean, transparent boost to your signal, maintaining the authentic tone of your instrument. The rugged design and intuitive single-knob control make it a straightforward yet versatile tool for various applications.

2. Controls

• Sting Knob: Controls the level of boost. Turning clockwise will increase the boost level.

3. Modes of Operation

• Before Overdrive (OD) Pedals:
  Placing the Texas Scorpion before your OD pedals provides a clean boost, which can drive your OD pedals harder, resulting in increased saturation and sustain.
• After Overdrive (OD) Pedals:
  Placing it after your OD pedals will maintain the overdrive tone while increasing the overall level, ideal for solos or lifting your signal above the mix.
• In the Middle of Overdrive (OD) Pedals:
  If you use multiple OD pedals, placing the Texas Scorpion in between them allows for a clean level boost or additional drive to the second OD pedal, creating a richer, more complex tone.
• In the FX Loop:
  Inserting the Texas Scorpion in your amplifier’s FX loop provides a clean volume boost, perfect for solos or increasing overall volume without affecting preamp gain.
