Jalapeño Screamer Vintage Overdrive

Blends effortlessly with other overdrives, boost pedals, and fuzzes, making it a versatile gem for any genre yearning for a classic touch.

The TS808 has always been a fascinating circuit. It’s creamy, smooth, warm, and extremely versatile. This circuit is probably the most adopted in the world, with every major pedal builder having at least one inspired by the TS808.

Circuits are like recipes, and the same recipe can taste different even with identical ingredients. That’s how it is with circuits. So, this is my version of this legendary circuit. I’ve retained some elements, like the same JRC4558D IC chip, and changed others. Unlike the original, my version includes a true bypass.

Just as the TS808 is the most iconic OD circuit, the Jalapeño is the most iconic pepper in the world. It was just the perfect match to describe the flavor of this circuit. This is how the Jalapeño Screamer was born.

The Jalapeño Screamer, as a Vintage Overdrive, will enrich your guitar with tonal richness. It pairs well with other pedals – before or after a fuzz or clean boost. Create your combination; it’s going to sound fantastic!

Like all my pedals, it’s designed, hand-assembled, and hand-wired in a tiny apartment somewhere in Dallas, Texas.

Seize a Jalapeño Screamer Vintage Overdrive today, and take your musical expressions into a realm where each chord resonates with timeless vintage allure, perfectly complementing your existing gear ensemble.

Stuff You Need to Know

I create my pedals manually.

Firstly, I design most of the PCBs and carefully select the parts required for the pedal. Next, I solder the parts by hand and manually wire them. I also design the faceplate art and get it placed into each enclosure myself.

Finally, I clear coat the pedals and hand them to my wife who packages them, and we do all of this work in our living room located in Dallas, Texas.

That’s why every pedal is different.
Every pedal is special.

This is mainly a one-person operation, although my amazing wife helps with packaging and provides me with all the motivation necessary for Spicy Pedals to exist.

Although I make small batches, I don’t keep much inventory because this is a micro-operation. However, we do accept backorders for most of my pedals, but please note that it may take up to two weeks to fulfill your backorder.

In case you opt to backorder a pedal, I will send you an email to inform you about the estimated time required to create your pedal.

I offer a 5-year warranty to the original buyer. If the pedal is not working or it is not doing what it is supposed to do, send me an email, and we’ll figure out what’s up.  Please email me before returning anything.  You can reach me at [email protected].

Thank you very much for visiting my website. All of this has been made out of love for music and stompboxes.
